Our Food Allergy Story

Hi, I’m Jay — and welcome to Eat Safe, Live Well.

If you check every food label, feel cautious when eating meals prepared by others, and are always searching for allergy-safe alternatives to your favorite foods, you’re not alone — and you’re in the right place.

My journey with food allergies began almost 20 years ago, when my oldest child had their first allergic reaction. I quickly learned that eating safely — and well — doesn’t happen by chance. It takes education, creativity, and courage.

Two more children with food allergies and twenty years later, I decided to share what I’ve learned to help make allergy-safe eating easier, safer, and less overwhelming for the food allergy community.

When I was starting out, resources were harder to find, and allergy awareness was far less common. That experience is what inspired me to create a space rooted in education, support, and real-life experience.
